Madison is a fun imaginative 6 yr old girl who is suffering from a rare intestinal disorder. She has been battling with this since she was born, but the past two years have been the worst for her. She recently underwent surgery that was supposed to improve her life called an appendicostomy. It is a mic-key button placed into her appendix which is connected to the cecum part of her colon. Two weeks after her surgery she went back in for an x ray as she started vomiting and her belly was becoming more and more distended. The x ray showed she was again fully compacted and needed to be admitted for a clean out. From that point on she has been admitted every 2 weeks for more clean outs and weekly changes of medicine. She is currently hooked up to a machine at night through her button that pumps in 1 liter of medicine and on the 4th day she is on 4 liters for 24hrs.

She is currently in Kindergarten and is unable to participate in daily activities like gym. She has missed a lot of school and therefor her recently divorced mom is unable to work anymore. Madison is unable to live a life of a “typical child” she can not ride her bike, go for long walks or even birthday parties that have bounce house activities.

She is being sent to Boston for a diagnostic exam that is only offered in two states nationwide. Unfortunately her Insurance will not cover the cost of this trip or medical expenses. The whole cost will be $25,000.00, please help make this possible to help find a cure for Madison.
